Terms of use

This page describes the basic rules for using the clmbot.org website, installation files, and community entry points provided by sslTrus Inc.

Free non-commercial use for individuals and organizations

Individuals and organizations may use clmbot free of charge for personal learning, education, non-profit research, feature evaluation, compatibility validation, and internal testing. Enterprise production, customer delivery, paid services, and any other direct or indirect commercial use require prior, separate written authorization from sslTrus Inc. This permission applies only to officially released compiled packages and does not grant access to source code.

Copying, mirroring, and redistribution of official packages

You may copy, mirror, or redistribute unmodified official packages for non-commercial purposes. You may not sell the package or charge for downloading or distributing it. You must retain the original filename, copyright notice, and license notice; you may not alter the executable, archive contents, digital signature, or SHA256 information, present a third-party mirror as an official source, or bundle the package with malware.

No modification or reverse engineering

Except where applicable law expressly prohibits this restriction, you may not modify, adapt, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, attempt to obtain source code, bypass security controls, or remove copyright and source notices. The clmbot and clmbot.org source code is not currently public. Any future open-source scope and license will be announced formally.

No warranty

The software is provided "as is" and "as available," without a guarantee of continuous availability, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with every environment. You are responsible for backing up configuration and certificates, validating test results, and assessing risk.

Future rules do not retroactively change acquired versions

sslTrus Inc. may change the features, distribution method, license conditions, or pricing of future releases. A version obtained lawfully remains governed by the terms that applied when that version was obtained; later rules do not retroactively change the rights already granted for that version.

Names and brands

The clmbot name, logo, and related brand marks belong to their respective rights holders. Without written permission, you may not use them in a way that could imply official endorsement, a partnership, or a misleading source.

Releases and compatibility

Version information, download sources, checksums, and compatibility information are governed by this site's download page, release notes, and the documentation for the corresponding release. Page content is not a service-level agreement or an unconditional guarantee for every environment.

Community participation

When participating in Discussions or Issues, follow the community Code of Conduct and make sure you have the right to publish any text, logs, images, or other material you submit. Public pull requests for the product source code are not currently accepted.

Complete license text

The complete clmbot binary software license for non-commercial use is provided with the public community repository and official release materials. If this page summary differs from the complete license, the complete license and the terms supplied with the corresponding version govern.
